ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead transfer services by coordinating transfer school visits and associated programming, as well as working collaboratively with faculty and 4-year college transfer advisors.
2. Provide academic support and counseling to students in a variety of areas to promote holistic student health and retention, including personal and academic success counseling.
3. Serve in a support role for early alert programming and mental health services.
4. Coordinate and implement proactive outreach programs and activities to promote student success, academic success, holistic health, unplanned pregnancy prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, Safe Spring Break, suicide prevention, sexual assault awareness/prevention, sexual harassment prevention, and other topics.
5. Assists with academic advising for incoming students during registration periods. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Some evening/weekend work and light travel may be required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: higher education, psychology, social work, or related field. Experience in a higher educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in one of the following fields: higher education, psychology, social work, or related field.
