"Two full-time, tenure-track or long-term faculty, Department of Psychology and Neuroscience"

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Program at La Sierra University invites applications for two open-rank faculty positions to begin in Fall 2026. Applicants should hold or be near completion of a PhD in psychology or neuroscience. One position will teach undergraduate courses in behavioral neuroscience, neuroscience research methodology, and other courses in neuroscience and psychology (including in the applicant’s specialty area); ideally this candidate will be able to teach cellular and molecular neuroscience and have a strong background in methods and statistics. The second position (pending funding) will teach undergraduate introductory courses, research methods, statistics, and other courses in the applicant’s specialty area; ideally these applicants will have a background in clinical psychology, health psychology, and/or neuropsychology. La Sierra University is primarily a teaching institution, but faculty are expected to be active in research and involve undergraduates in research.
