Two full-time, tenure-track or long-term faculty, Department of Psychology and Neuroscience
The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Program at La Sierra University invites applications for two open-rank faculty positions to begin in Fall 2026. Applicants should hold or be near completion of a PhD in psychology or neuroscience. One position will teach undergraduate courses in behavioral neuroscience, neuroscience research methodology, and other courses in neuroscience and psychology (including in the applicant’s specialty area); ideally this candidate will be able to teach cellular and molecular neuroscience and have a strong background in methods and statistics. The second position (pending funding) will teach undergraduate introductory courses, research methods, statistics, and other courses in the applicant’s specialty area; ideally these applicants will have a background in clinical psychology, health psychology, and/or neuropsychology. La Sierra University is primarily a teaching institution, but faculty are expected to be active in research and involve undergraduates in research. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes an excellent benefits package with health, vision, and dental coverage.
