Brief Summary of Work for this Position:

The University Learning Center is hiring part-time, temporary tutors to work as peer educators with UNCW students during the summer sessions. ULC Summer Tutors might work with students one-on-one, online, in an open lab, and/or lead a small group. These positions support students as they develop course content knowledge, problem-solving strategies, study skills, and writing skills.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• UNCW graduate
• Minimum of one semester of tutoring experience

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Required Certifications or Licensure:

• CRLA certified

Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work Days: Monday - Friday

Hours Per Week: 20

Anticipated Hiring Range: $12 - $20 per hour
