UME Curriculum Coordinator - DOCS & Traverse
Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the DOCS and Traverse medical education programs by ensuring curriculum activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and consistently. The role coordinates multiple courses, faculty members, schedules, and systems simultaneously to support the successful delivery of educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Course Planning, Development, and Coordination for DOCS (50%)
- Attends planning sessions for curriculum groups to record actionable meeting minutes, collects resources and stores them in centralized repositories, and conducts follow-up on action items to ensure their timely completion.
- Manages shared curriculum inboxes, triaging and responding to high-volume requests with accuracy and professionalism.
- Confirms session schedules with DOCS and Traverse faculty. Builds, validates, and publishes course schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness across systems.
Course Planning, Development, and Coordination for Traverse Curriculum (15%)
- Attends planning sessions for curriculum groups to record actionable meeting minutes, collects resources and stores them in centralized repositories, and conducts follow-up on action items to ensure their timely completion.
- Confirms session schedules with Traverse faculty and the CAPE team. Builds the course schedule in advance of each Traverse week and ensures it is published to student schedules.
Live Session Set Up and Support (15%)
- Provides day-of support for assigned curriculum sessions across the Trek curriculum.
UME Administration (20%)
- Develops cooperation and cross-functional teamwork while participating in a group; working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
