ACTA is seeking a University Senior Lecturer (UHD) in Gerodontology to contribute significantly to education, research, and care in this field.

Your Tasks

Further develop interprofessional education in Gerodontology; coordinate research projects on interprofessional care for vulnerable elderly, efficiency of oral care, and implementation of interprofessional education; expand oral care for vulnerable elderly; contribute to establishing a national interprofessional care network; and take a leadership role in advancing oral care for vulnerable elderly in the Netherlands through collaboration with professional organizations, universities, government agencies, and patient associations.

Requirements

You are a promoted and BIG-registered dentist recognized as a geriatric dentist, with expertise in Gerodontology and extensive teaching experience. You are SKO-certified or equivalent, experienced in various educational aspects including student training, course design, and coordination. You have research experience evidenced by relevant publications, supervision of at least 2 PhD students, conference presentations, and a clear research line in Gerodontology. You are a team player with leadership and management experience, a broad network across disciplines nationally and internationally, experience in network care, and involvement in continuing education, guideline development, and implementation.

Employment Conditions

A fixed-term contract for 1 year, with potential extension. Salary ranges from €6,512 to €7,904 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours/week), depending on education and experience. The position is for at least 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours/week). Benefits include vacation allowance, end-of-year bonus, travel allowance, and opportunities for personal development.
