Job Information
- Organisation/Company: Veterinärmedizinische Universität Wien (University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna)
Offer Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong experimental in vitro background to join our Pharmacology and Toxicology research team. Our research investigates disease mechanisms with a particular interest in inflammatory and metabolic alterations, tissue and barrier dysfunction, and host–pathogen interactions. Current projects focus on insult-induced neurological disorders, including acquired epilepsies, while expanding towards systemic and organ-specific diseases, including gastrointestinal disorders. The successful candidate will establish and advance complex in vitro models, such as barrier models, organ-on-a-chip systems and organoids, and contribute to translational research integrating in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo approaches.
