In this pivotal coordination role, you will drive delivery of the Commonwealth-funded University Department of Rural Health. You will oversee budgets, contracts, reporting and research administration while connecting rural teams with central university systems. You will help strengthen rural and First Nations health outcomes across Shepparton, Wangaratta, Ballarat and beyond.

What you will deliver:
- Lead planning, monitoring and optimisation of the UDRH budget to meet Commonwealth performance targets and reporting needs.
- Coordinate contract management, including development, registration and invoicing of non-research agreements with internal and external partners.
- Oversee accurate capture of UDRH activities and research outputs to support Commonwealth, ARHEN and university reporting.
- Provide high-level executive support to the UDRH Director, including governance, strategic planning, key meetings and ARHEN representation.
- Champion First Nations teaching and activities through course promotion, enrolment support, administration and collaboration with the Malka team.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant university degree and bring substantial experience in administration, program coordination or management.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including experience monitoring budgets, tracking expenditure and interpreting complex funding requirements.
- Exhibit proven ability to work respectfully and effectively with First Nations people and communities.
- Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to improve systems, streamline processes and deliver quality outcomes.
- Lead and coordinate work across multiple teams, providing guidance, supervision and support to achieve shared goals.
- Navigate large, complex organisations, ideally including University of Melbourne systems, and manage relationships across dispersed rural campuses.
