Degree in Medicine holder with demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination, and supervision of medical education and training activities in both postgraduate specialist training and higher education. Proven ability in the organisation and management of healthcare teaching resources, including the planning and allocation of educational and clinical training activities, coordination of academic and healthcare professionals, management of operational issues, and monitoring of quality assurance processes. Experience in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to patient safety, data protection, and confidentiality. Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and academic healthcare environments.

Amount: 1.366,83 € gross, monthly including the prorated share of extra payments

Duties and responsibilities:

Technical advisory support, not corresponding to the duties of staff employed by the University of Huelva, for the planning, organisation, coordination, monitoring and proper integration of the practical and clinical training activities of the Bachelor's Degree in Medicine of the University of Huelva within the public healthcare system, facilitating the relationship between the University, students, academic staff and clinical tutors, and healthcare institutions.

The post holder shall perform their duties, among others, in the following areas:

• Planning and allocation of students undertaking clinical placements.
• Coordination of clinical placements within the Bachelor's Degree in Medicine, ensuring coherence between the Degree Programme in Medicine and the departments and units of healthcare centres and clinical services.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and good practices relating to Occupational Risk Prevention, data protection and clinical confidentiality, including: coordination of clinical associate teaching staff and clinical tutors in these matters; implementation of contingency measures in response to incidents; and reporting to the relevant committees of the Degree Programme in Medicine, the Faculty responsible for the programme and the healthcare institutions.

The following merits will be assessed (the evaluation will be carried out on a scale of 10 points, with a minimum of 5 points required):

1. Experience in the management, coordination and administration of Specialised Health Training (maximum 3.50 points)

Accredited experience in the performance of management, coordination, planning or administration responsibilities related to Specialised Health Training in centres, units or healthcare facilities accredited for the training of specialists in Health Sciences will be assessed.

Experience will be awarded at a rate of 0.10 points for each full year of service, with periods of less than one year being calculated proportionally.

2. University teaching experience in official degree programmes in the field of Health Sciences (maximum 3.00 points)

Accredited university teaching experience in official degree programmes in the field of Health Sciences will be assessed, with particular consideration given to its connection with medical education and clinical or healthcare teaching, as follows:

• University teaching in Medicine: 0.30 points per academic year.
• University teaching in other official Health Sciences degree programmes: 0.15 points per academic year.

Teaching activities carried out simultaneously during the same academic year shall not be cumulative when they correspond to the same teaching period.

3. Professional clinical experience as a physician (maximum 1.50 points)

Professional experience as a physician in centres and services of the Andalusian Health Service will be assessed, given its relation to knowledge of the organisation and functioning of healthcare centres, services and facilities, as well as to the academic-clinical coordination duties covered by the contract.

Experience will be awarded at a rate of 0.04 points for each full year of service, with periods of less than one year being calculated proportionally.

4. Experience in the planning and coordination of clinical placements and in coordination activities between the University and healthcare institutions (maximum 1.00 point)

Accredited experience in the planning, organisation, coordination or monitoring of clinical placements for university students enrolled in degree programmes in the field of Health Sciences will be assessed, as well as participation in institutional coordination activities between universities and healthcare centres, services or institutions for the delivery of clinical teaching.

Experience will be awarded at a rate of 0.05 points for each full year of accredited experience, with periods of less than one year being calculated proportionally.

5. Academic qualifications and experience in research training (maximum 1.00 point)

Postgraduate academic qualifications and accredited experience in research training and research supervision in Medicine and in the field of Health Sciences will be assessed, as follows:

• PhD degree in Medicine or in a Health Sciences field: 0.50 points.
• Supervision or co-supervision of successfully defended doctoral theses: 0.15 points per doctoral thesis.
