In this senior role, you will lead CERSH’s sexual and reproductive health promotion programme across rural Victoria. You will shape policy, partnerships and workforce capacity, working with peak bodies to improve community health outcomes. What you will deliver:
- Provide strategic leadership for CERSH’s sexual and reproductive health promotion programme across rural Victoria.
- Lead, mentor and manage health promotion staff, fostering collaborative, values-based practice and high-quality project delivery.
- Design, govern and deliver complex health promotion projects, ensuring budgets, timelines, risks and reporting requirements are met.
- Build and sustain strategic alliances with peak bodies, services and communities to influence sexual health policy.
- Strengthen rural workforce and community capacity through targeted workforce development, communities of practice, and evidence-informed planning, evaluation, and annual reporting.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in senior health promotion leadership roles.
- Demonstrate expertise in sexual health promotion theory, practice and Australian STI and blood borne virus epidemiology.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder health promotion programmes, delivering outcomes on time, within scope and budget.
- Lead strategic and operational planning, evaluation and reporting, producing high-quality documentation for diverse stakeholders and funders.
- Build and maintain high-level partnerships, collaborations and advocacy networks across health, education, youth and community sectors.
- Supervise, mentor and develop professional staff, thriving in complex university or large organisational environments.
