Job Description

The successful candidate will be conducting experiments in a cell and molecular biology laboratory and is expected to keep careful records in a laboratory notebook and critically evaluate experiments. In addition, this person will be responsible for ordering and preparing laboratory reagents and supplies. Working within a team environment and interaction with other scientists is also required.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), benefit eligible, unranked, academic position.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in routine cell culture, SDS-PAGE, and/or molecular cloning protocols

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $21.00/hour

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
