Primary Purpose of the Organization:
The Division of Academic Affairs offers high-quality programs that prepare graduates to assume responsible leadership and service roles in professions and communities in southeastern North Carolina and beyond. Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Transfer Student Coordinator is an Office for Adult Learners, Transfer, and Military Students Team member and reports to the Executive Director for Adult Learners, Transfer, and Military Students. This position is responsible for monitoring the Bronco Benefit letter of intent forms, connecting prospective Bronco Benefit participants to their FSU liaison, scheduling campus visits to their assigned partner schools, and being the first point of contact for newly admitted transfer students. This position is also responsible for connecting transfer students to the appropriate campus resources according to the student’s needs. This position works with departments within the academic affairs and student affairs divisions, including admissions, financial aid, registrar, counseling center, student engagement, and department chairs. This position requires you to have knowledge of all undergraduate university programs and must remain knowledgeable of all academic advisors per academic program. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of university academic policies and can recommend appropriate course substitutions or adjustments for every undergraduate degree program. This position will meet regularly with the transfer admissions and academic advising teams to remain knowledgeable of all current and new initiatives. This position will work closely with the ATM Program Coordinator and the FTCC Liaison to ensure transfer student success.
This position is designated as time- limited. Continuation of position is contingent upon availability of non-state fuds.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.

- Enrollment, financial aid, or admissions experience
- Knowledge of transfer processes and course equivalencies
