General Information:

University Recreation (UREC) is currently seeking applicants for the Facilities Manager position. The Facilities Manager serves on the University Recreation (UREC) staff and reports to the Associate Director of Facilities & Operations. This position provides maintenance oversight for UREC's indoor and outdoor satellite facilities, ensuring safe, functional, and program-ready environments that support recreation programs, sport competitions, special events, and university engagement.

UREC is a Health & Well-being department within the Student Affairs division. The mission of UREC is to promote and advance healthy lifestyles through educational programs, participation opportunities and supportive services. UREC's qualified staff is committed to excellence and responsive to the developmental needs of their participants.

UREC's award-winning main facility is 278,515 square feet of recently expanded and renovated space. UREC looks for people who are passionate about teaching and working with students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Satellite Facility Maintenance
- Perform weekly inspection, cleaning and minor repairs of all goals, fencing, netting, and site furnishings at satellite facilities...
Shared Facility Maintenance
- Perform and plan the maintenance of shared satellite spaces in collaboration with space owner...
Administration
- Prepares and tracks the overall budget for satellite facility maintenance...
Collaboration
- Serves as a member of the UREC team and on committees as assigned...

Qualifications:

Required:

Experience in facility maintenance
Experience in equipment maintenance and repair
Basic computer skills
Valid Driver's License
