Job Description

The User Technology Services Specialist will support the work of the Ask Us Desk and Innovation Garage, two of the Auraria Library's dynamic service points. This includes staffing the Ask Us Desk, Innovation Garage, maintaining the Ask Us technology collection, and serving as the knowledge expert for the accessible workstations.

What you will do:

Customer Experience Spaces:

• Acts as person in charge and knowledge expert for the Ask Us Desk
• Acts as person in charge for the Innovation Garage
• Meet user needs by answering directional questions, technology troubleshooting, handling circulation transactions
• Collect and help assess data
• Assist in the management of resources

Accessible Software Specialist

• Be the knowledge expert for accessible software and resources
• Create and maintain asynchronous trainings
• Remain current on technology and trends around accessibility

Technology Collection Support

• Maintains the Ask Us Desk technology collection
• Provides appropriate record keeping
• Tests and troubleshoots all technology
• Suggest replacement items
• Catalog items
