Position Summary:
The primary function of this employee is to participate in maintenance related activities to develop proficiency in all aspects of skilled trades. This employee will perform a variety of building maintenance tasks in and around various residence halls, including pathways and public areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Five years of experience, vocational training in one of the applicable trades, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
- Safely operates and uses various tools associated with the skilled trades worker field, e.g. power and hand tools.
- Carries out work assignments with the expected degree of independence and with limited callbacks for cleanup or additional repairs.
