Vascular Anomalies Assistant Professor, Clinician Educator, Pediatric Oncology (CHOP)

Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical care and research directly related to patients with complex vascular anomalies. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of medical students, graduate students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or related disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care focused on children, adolescents and young adults with complex vascular anomalies at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and active involvement in fellowship training. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate with members of a large interdisciplinary team.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include expanding translational and clinical research efforts in our Complex Vascular Anomalies Program. Evidence of scholarship is required on the CE track.
