Job Description:
Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $57,200 - $62,000
The Office of the Dean of Students is seeking a motivated individual to assist in the daily operations of the office and support military-affiliated students throughout their academic journey. This position will work closely with the Director of Veteran and Military Services, serving as a point of contact for student veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, and dependents. This role is student-facing, with student-support services, coordination of programming, administrative responsibilities, compliance and outreach being primary aspects of the role, and aims to strengthen the university's military-affiliated community and improve the accessibility of available resources for military-affiliated students.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a School Certifying Official (SCO)
- Assist military-affiliated students with applying for and acquiring benefits, applying for scholarships, registering for classes, and answering any questions
