"Vice Chancellor for Research and Dean of the Graduate School"

The Vice Chancellor for Research and Dean of the Graduate School (VCR/DGS) provides strategic leadership for Montana Tech’s research enterprise and graduate education. This position advances Montana Tech’s purpose of rising to meet America’s emerging needs in Natural Resources, Infrastructure, Health & Wellbeing, and Leadership & Workforce Development. Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the VCR/DGS is a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet and the Dean’s Council and plays a central role in advancing the University’s STEM special focus.

The VCR/DGS will cultivate a dynamic research environment, strengthen graduate programs, and build partnerships that amplify Montana Tech’s impact locally, nationally, and globally.
