"Vice President for Facilities"

The Vice President for Facilities (VPF) reports to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The VPF is responsible for management of University real estate, along with facilities operations, planning, capital improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, engineering or closely related discipline required. PE, MBA or MEd preferred.
• Substantial experience in the management of facilities and auxiliary services, preferably in higher education; also demonstrates strong abilities in leadership, staff leadership, and fiscal oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and control complex, significant budgets including operating and capital.
• Significant related experience with real estate acquisition, disposition, leasing, etc.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and trustees.
• Knowledge of facilities related regulatory requirements and demonstrated ability to comply as required.
• Ability to understand, conform, and analyze data as well as make data driven recommendations.
• Valid driver’s license and accessibility to a vehicle is preferred.
• Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
