"Vietnamese - Part-Time Lecturer Pool"

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer pool in Vietnamese Studies to teach undergraduate courses in Vietnamese language, culture, business, art, literature, linguistics and/or film. Areas of Specialization include Vietnamese Language (Introductory to Advanced), Vietnamese Culture, Civilization and Contemporary Vietnam, Vietnamese for Business, Vietnamese Literature, Vietnamese Linguistics, and Vietnamese Film. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Appointments are temporary and often made just prior to the academic term.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold at least a master's degree in Vietnamese Studies or a related field and possess native-like fluency in Vietnamese for lower-division courses, or a Ph.D. (or be a Ph.D. candidate) for upper-division courses. Candidates should demonstrate ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population and have the legal right to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience at the college or university level, experience working with diverse populations, and relevant professional experience.
