Center (PEMSEC) Team to generate a precise, short, and concise specifications and requirements document for the induction machine for various transportation applications; evaluate the relevant tradespace of the induction machine-based generator system according to the requirements for various project; and work on the control strategies to satisfy the representative requirements of a given application. The Department has 30 tenured and tenure-track faculty, modern research facilities, annual research expenditures exceeding $10 million, and a vibrant graduate program with more than 100 PhD students. The successful candidate will join a collegial group of research-oriented faculty working in a highly collaborative environment and be a member of the prestigious Presidential Frontier Faculty network of scholars at UH.
