"Visiting Scholar"

The position is 100% research intern on the management of arthropod pests and diseases, with responsibilities including:

• Using entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi for biocontrol of turfgrass pests;
• Testing host plant resistance against turfgrass pests and diseases;
• Evaluating the impact of bacterial toxins on insect pests and diseases infesting pecan and turfgrass and non-target effects;
• Assisting with pest monitoring, field efficacy trials and disease studies.

A Bachelors degree in entomology or closely related field required.
