W2-Professorship (with tenure) in Inorganic Chemistry

The Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Bonn invites applications for a
W2 Professorship (with tenure) in Inorganic Chemistry
to be filled as soon as possible.
Successful candidates are expected to be internationally renowned in experimental inorganic chemistry that complements and strengthens the areas represented by the existing research groups within the Institute and the Department of Chemistry. An excellent research track record relative to the candidate’s career stage is expected. The candidate is expected to actively participate in the acquisition of third-party funding and to contribute to the development of collaborative research programs.
Teaching is an integral part of the professorial position and teaching in all stages of the study program in German and English language is required. Non-German speakers would be expected to teach in German within a reasonable timeframe. A high-quality teaching concept is therefore expected. Cooperation in academic administration is also expected.
The general conditions of employment are according to § 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen).
