Wellness Counselor (PC)
Basic Function
The Counseling Department at Porterville College is seeking a faculty member for a Tenure-Track Wellness Counselor position at the Porterville College location.

Representative Duties
Provide leadership, engagement, and discipline expertise in continuing to move the program forward in innovative ways. Demonstrate a commitment to student success through excellence in teaching and learning.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent. A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Desired Qualification
Possession of a current valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist.
