"Affiliated Instructor in English"

The Department of English and Philosophy at Wheaton College in Massachusetts invites applicants for an adjunct faculty appointment to teach two courses in African American Literature and Culture for the Spring 2026 academic year. These courses will contribute to the English and Creative Writing majors, as well as the African Diaspora Studies (AFDS) minor at Wheaton.

Possible course topics may include:

• African American Literature and Culture
• Harlem Renaissance
• Caribbean Literature and Culture

Applications will be considered on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
