Research assistance to execute study protocols - Percentage of time: 50
Data entry - Percentage of time: 25
General office work - Percentage of time: 25
Classification Title: Student Assistant
FLSA: Non-Exempt
FTE: 0.50
Position Summary: Student will assist with research projects, data entry, and outreach. The student will work directly with faculty, graduate students, and other undergraduates to conduct research. Primary duties will include data entry, literature reviews, experimental setup, behavioral data collection, and conduct of experiments. The student will be responsible for their own transportation.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification: Completion of or working towards a bachelor of science in wildlife ecology and management or closely related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to work independently and in teams. Comfortable working in office settings and outdoors.
Physical Demands: Lift 50 pounds and work outside. Office work. Driving as needed for job duties.
