Witteveen Memorial Fellowship in Law and Humanities
Job Summary: The Witteveen Memorial Fellowship promotes research and teaching on law and rhetoric, narrative, image, performance, sound, and/or culture. It enables a junior scholar at PhD or postdoc level to share and develop their research during a one-month residency at Tilburg Law School in February-May 2026.
Responsibilities: Actively participate in the academic life of Tilburg Law School by presenting research in a seminar, teaching a guest class, and potentially introducing activities such as film screenings, organizing readings, exhibitions, or lecture performances.
Qualifications and Requirements: Eligible candidates must be scholars in the final stages of their PhD research or have obtained a PhD in the field of law and humanities within the last five years.
What the Employer Offers: Shared office space, online library access, and an adequate offer for travel and accommodation expenses. The fellowship covers these within fiscal possibilities but does not include allowances for other expenses.
