About the role:

Our expanding work-related learning offering provides experiential development opportunities like placement years, simulation days and office visits for undergraduate and postgraduate students. These opportunities help students build confidence, skills and experience and help them to become business-ready in a fast-changing world of work.
This position will support the suite of activities, including our growing micro-internship scheme, our career development modules, and lead and design new elements as we embed experiential learning further into the student journey. To achieve our ambitions, we are searching for a candidate who is highly organised, can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and provide excellent service for students and colleagues. In this role, you will be running projects from the beginning, creating and sharing marketing materials, managing applications, running the project and evaluating its success. Additionally, you will manage student queries, provide clear guidance, and foster engagement throughout the process.
Our team strives to deliver a data- and evidence-driven provision. Work-Related Learning is now an established offering for our students, and the next phase focuses on developing and evidencing our impact. Understanding student needs and uptake and identifying opportunities and challenges will be key to shaping the future of our provision and the wider student experience.
First round interviews will be held via a 30-minute call on w/c 12th January
Second-round interviews will be held in person at our Bush House, London campus on Thursday 22nd January
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. This position requires a minimum of 40% on-campus presence at Bush House—equivalent to at least two days per week
About you:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in designing student-led activities and engagements that provide learning opportunities for participants
- Excellent track record of productive stakeholder engagement at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence others
- Has an interest in work-related learning, and how institutes develop our students to be ready for their future beyond education
- Excellent track record of productive stakeholder engagement at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to influence others
- Successfully organised and led in-person events and activities for a range of audiences
- Is data driven with analytical skills and the ability to interpret, report and present various forms of data to different audiences
- Natural collaborator with a positive, solutions-focused, approach and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Desirable criteria
- Business School Experience and / or experience of working within a Higher Education environment
- Exposure to work-related, experiential, work-based learning activities in education
Grade and Salary: £39,076 - £43,909 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
