Primary Responsibilities:
Position available Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 terms.
The Museum of the Big Bend is in need of a Work Study student to work at the museum for one 6 hour shift on Saturdays and additional 3 hour shifts during the week Tuesday through Friday, depending on the student’s school schedule. The worker will be responsible for greeting the public, working in the gift shop, dispensing information about Museum exhibits, taking admissions and other duties as needed. The student will be trained by Museum staff on all aspects of their job to ensure that they feel confident in handling the position on their own.
This position is security sensitive and will require a background check.
Other duties as assigned.
