- Remuneration: $109,157 to $118,193 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $92,239 to $99,875 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Workshops Officer, High School Engagement to join Marketing and Student Recruitment, Engagement, Chancellery Division.
The Workshops Officer plays a key role in the High School Student Connections program, coordinating and supporting workshops for high school students. Acting as the primary point of contact, the role liaises with teachers, students, parents, QUT staff, and casual Student Ambassadors who deliver the workshops. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of workshop administration and logistics, including development, scheduling, bookings, budgeting, rostering, and on-the-day coordination. It’s a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across teams, supporting students, and contributing to QUT’s high school engagement initiatives.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients and suppliers, and staff of the University.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and opportunities for continuous improvement in programme delivery.
- Proven digital literacy using a range of applications and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of client service.
- 7. Ability to actively participate in and contribute to establishing and maintaining an effective safe and healthy workplace.
