Wrangler Kitchen Student Server

General Summary
Odessa College is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Wrangler Kitchen Server to support front-of-house operations within Wrangler Kitchen and OCuisine. This student position plays an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience for students, employees, campus guests, and community members.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and thrives in an active, team-oriented environment.
Specific Position Duties
- Greet and assist students, employees, guests, and community customers
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and answer basic menu questions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions
- Serve and package food and beverages according to established standards
- Assist with preparing dining and service areas before opening
- Restock beverages, condiments, utensils, napkins, and other service items
- Maintain clean tables, counters, beverage stations, and customer areas
- Assist with OCuisine dining service and special events as needed
- Communicate customer requests and order information effectively with kitchen staff
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with Wrangler Kitchen and Culinary teams
Minimum Qualifications
Part-time hours, up to 19 hours per week. Schedule may include mornings, lunch periods, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends depending on operations and events. Must have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
