College of the Sequoias Community College District accepts applications for part-time adjunct faculty pools for the position of Librarian within its Library/Learning Resource Center continuously.
PART-TIME ADJUNCT POOLS
Part-Time Adjunct Faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center.

Job Duties
- Provide in-person and online reference assistance and research consultation to students, faculty, and staff at the Ask a Librarian desk, including one-on-one appointments, at all three sites (Visalia, Hanford, and/or Tulare).
- Teach library instruction sessions and facilitate library orientations.
- Teach or co-teach library workshops.
- Engage in collection management duties (e.g., weeding, purchasing, and evaluating collections in one or more subject areas).
- Act as library liaison for one or more subject areas.
- Assist teaching faculty in locating academic resources, including Open Educational Resources (OER).
- Create and update online resources (e.g., research guides and websites).
- Promote library resources, services, and outreach efforts to the campus community.
- Has the opportunity to teach credit-bearing library courses.
Qualifications
Earned MLS (MLIS) degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution OR The Equivalent.
