MVC SAT Scores

SAT Score Ranges for Admitted Students:

• Score Range: 860–1060 (combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, and Math)
• Average Score: Approximately 960
• 75th Percentile: Around 1060, meaning top admitted students often score at or above this mark

Key Points:

• SAT or ACT scores are required for most freshman applicants to Missouri Valley College (MVC), though test-optional policies may apply for certain programs or circumstances.
• Scores are evaluated as part of a holistic review process, with no strict minimum threshold, but higher scores strengthen an application.
• MVC does not officially superscore SAT results, so students should submit their best single-sitting score.
• Alternatives such as AP or IB test scores may be considered for placement or credit but do not replace SAT/ACT requirements for admission.
• Prospective students are encouraged to aim for an SAT score of at least 960–1060 to align with the average and upper ranges of admitted students at Missouri Valley College.
