Key Points:

• SAT or ACT scores are not strictly required at Palm Beach Atlantic University, as PBA offers a test-optional admissions policy for many applicants.
• When submitted, SAT scores are evaluated as part of a holistic review process, alongside academic records and personal achievements, rather than as a strict cutoff.
• PBA practices superscoring for the SAT, meaning the admissions team considers the highest section scores across multiple test dates to create the best possible composite score.
• Alternatives such as Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) scores may be considered for admissions or credit purposes, especially for test-optional applicants.
• For students opting to submit scores, aiming for an SAT score of 1200 or higher is recommended to align with or exceed the average at Palm Beach Atlantic University and stand out in the applicant pool.
