Dr Alexandra Diamond is a Lecturer in Early Childhood in the School of Education, College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences at Adelaide University. As an early childhood lecturer and researcher, her PhD research investigated young children’s language socialisation in a rural Indo-Fijian community at the University of South Australia. Her research interests include young children's language socialisation, families and parenting, and child- and family-friendly communities. She is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students as a co-supervisor.
Diamond has published extensively on topics related to early childhood language, literacy, and development in diverse cultural contexts.
