Mrs Amanda Janssen is a Lecturer in Academic Integrity at Adelaide University, within Academic Quality and Integrity. She completed a Master of Applied Linguistics at the University of Adelaide from 2010 to 2012. Her career history includes roles at Charles Darwin University from 2013 to 2021, serving as Theme Leader Senior Lecturer in Academic Language and Learning and Lecturer in the Academic Language and Learning Success Program. From 2021, she was Lecturer in Academic Development - Academic Integrity at the University of South Australia, which merged to form Adelaide University, and took up her current position in December 2025. Janssen is a recognised expert in academic integrity, with expertise in curriculum development and assessment design. She provides comprehensive leadership in academic integrity portfolios.
In 2020, Janssen received a Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning from the Australian Awards for University Teaching, recognising her development of innovative resources that make visible and clearly communicate university procedures and expectations around student academic integrity.
