Billy Bizilis is a Lecturer in Software Development and Design in the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, within the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Adelaide University. He specialises in Object-Oriented Programming, Virtual Reality and Games Development & Design. Bizilis has previously developed virtual reality applications, focusing on educational material in the industry. His area of interest is gamification of educational materials; the transformation and enhancement of course curricula to improve student learning outcomes and promote an immersive and encouraging educational environment. His ongoing pursuit toward continuous professional development includes researching, developing, and integrating gamified structures and elements into STEM courses. Research interests associated with his profile encompass Computer Gaming and Animation, Education, Education and training, Educational Technology and Computing, Entertainment and gaming, and Virtual and mixed reality.
