Dr. Corinne Green is a Lecturer in Academic Development with Teaching and Learning Innovation at Adelaide University on Kaurna Country. She earned her PhD from the University of Wollongong in 2021, with a thesis titled 'Partnering in the third space: What motivates teachers' and school leaders' involvement in school-university partnerships?', and a Bachelor of Primary Education (Dean's Scholar Honours) from the same university between 2011 and 2014. Her career trajectory includes serving as Lecturer in Academic Development at the University of South Australia from 2021 to 2025 and as Head Tutor and Lecturer at the University of Wollongong from 2016 to 2021. Green is recognized as a Senior Fellow with Advance HE (SFHEA), awarded in 2025. She actively collaborates with local and international colleagues on projects in academic development, teacher education, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), often acting as a critical friend to encourage intentional teaching practices among university educators.
Green's research focuses on higher education, professional development and adult education, teacher education and professional development of educators, and teaching and curriculum. Key publications include the co-edited book 'Creating, Sustaining, and Enhancing Purposeful School-University Partnerships: Building Connections Across Diverse Educational Systems' (Springer, 2024); the systematic literature review 'School-university partnerships in Australia' in Asia-Pacific Journal of Teacher Education (2020, 183 citations); 'Preparing quality teachers: Bridging the gap between tertiary experiences and classroom realities' in Teaching and Learning Inquiry (2018, 116 citations); 'Shifting the delivery but keeping the focus: A reflection on ensuring quality teacher preparation during a pandemic' in Education Sciences (2021); 'Authentic empathy: a cultural basis for the development of empathy in children' in Journal of Humanistic Psychology (2024); and 'Designing a framework to improve critical reflection writing in teacher education using action research' in Educational Action Research (2024). She has presented her work at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in the 'Future Science Talks: Comedy Edition' show and holds memberships in the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) since 2023 and the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL) since 2016. Green serves as Associate Editor for Teaching & Learning Inquiry journal from 2025 and was involved in the Council of Australasian University Leaders in Learning and Teaching (CAULLT) project from 2023 to 2025.
