Dr. Dianne (Di) Johnson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Griffith Business School, Griffith University. She holds the role of Discipline Advisor for Financial Planning and is a member of the Griffith Centre for Personal Finance and Superannuation. Johnson was conferred her PhD in finance and economics by Griffith Business School in January 2018, having been a PhD candidate who placed third in the 2013 Griffith University 3 Minute Thesis final. She possesses over 25 years of experience in private sector, government, and university positions, including more than 10 years in principal positions focused on finance and strategic matters. Johnson is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an academic member of the Financial Advice Association Australia, and is described on official university profiles as a multi-award-winning Senior Lecturer with numerous awards and commendations for teaching excellence.
Johnson's research specializations include personal and household finance, retirement, ageing, and financial capability.
