About Eric

Eric Nelson serves as Professor of Management in the Department of Management at the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies, University of Central Missouri. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Education specializing in Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois, a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird. Prior to academia, he amassed 13 years of corporate experience in management development training and organizational development. Nelson teaches and consults on interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, and self-analysis skills. He embodies a lifelong passion for experiential learning, adopting a learner-focused and collaborative approach to his teaching and projects.
