Fang Hu is an Associate Professor in Accounting at the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, Griffith Business School, Griffith University. She holds a PhD degree. Her research interests encompass capital markets, corporate sustainability, financial reporting and disclosure in China and in a global context, financial accounting, corporate governance, and emerging markets. As a member of the Griffith Asia Institute, she has contributed to discussions on China's stock markets, including transparency, regulation, and synchronicity. Fang Hu supervises doctoral students on topics such as fair value disclosure. She convenes courses including Corporate Accounting (7103AFE).
Fang Hu has published several key papers in reputable journals. Notable publications include 'Do Women and Ethnic Minority Directors Influence Firm Value?
