Fouad Abou-Ghalioum serves as Associate Professor and EET Academic Advisor in the Engineering Technology Department, Washkewicz College of Engineering, at Cleveland State University. He has dedicated over 35 years to the university, receiving a University Service Award in Spring 2023. In the 2002-2004 Undergraduate Catalog, he is listed as Interim Chairperson alongside Robert J. Mikel and Donald F. Zeller. Abou-Ghalioum completed his education in Electrical Engineering at Cleveland State University in 1987. He contributed as a Change Leader in the IDEAL project during Year 3 (2011-2012), selected as Associate Professor of Engineering Technology from Science and Engineering. Since 2016, he has participated on an Advisory Committee as part of professional service activities.
Abou-Ghalioum has taught 28 courses in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Technology at Cleveland State University. These offerings cover digital systems, electrical engineering concepts, advanced programming, independent studies, and digital system fundamentals, supporting the department's curriculum in engineering technology. As EET Academic Advisor, he guides students in the program.
