Garfield A. Basant serves as Associate Professor of Mathematics at Palm Beach State College on the Lake Worth campus. He holds a Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. In his role, Basant teaches essential mathematics courses that form the foundation for students' academic progression in STEM and related fields. His current offerings include Trigonometry (MAC 1114), Precalculus (MAC 1140), Survey of Calculus (MAC 2233), Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (MAC 2311), and Intermediate Algebra (MAT 1033C). These classes are delivered through a blend of online instruction via the Canvas learning management system and traditional in-person sessions held in campus venues such as AH 0220, AH 0318, and BA 0303.
