Dr. Gaye Deegan serves as Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering and Information Technology at Adelaide University. She is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students, currently acting as co-supervisor for a Doctor of Philosophy candidate, Miss Surani Manique Warnakula, on the topic of digital forensic readiness for malicious insider threats: case studies in the financial services industry. Her research interests include strategic alignment, purposeful systems, and sports information systems. Previously, Dr. Deegan was Program Director in the School of Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Australia. She has also held the role of Director at the Adelaide Joint Cyber Security Centre, contributing to regional cybersecurity efforts. Additionally, she participated in the Review of Form 1 Vendor's Statement - Section 7 Land and Business (Sale and Conveyancing) Act 1994 (SA) for the South Australian Attorney General's Department from April 2021 to March 2022.
Dr. Deegan's publication record spans journals, conferences, and reports.
