Ms Hannah White is a Lecturer in Interior Architecture at Adelaide University, based in the School of Architecture and Built Environment within the College of Creative Arts, Design and Humanities. Her teaching encompasses core undergraduate courses essential to the interior architecture curriculum. In 2025, these included ARCH 1034 Design Studio (Foundation), ARCH 2057 Interior Architecture Studio 4 (Detail), and BUIL 3005 Interior Detailing. She delivered the same courses in 2024: ARCH 1034 Design Studio (Foundation), ARCH 2057 Interior Architecture Studio 4 (Detail), and BUIL 3005 Interior Detailing. Through these studio-based and technical courses, she guides students in foundational design principles, advanced detailing in interior architecture studios, and specialized interior detailing practices.
Hannah White's contributions to the field extend to creative practice documented as original creative works. In 2016, she presented Henry House, a first showing consisting of 10 pieces each measuring 170 x 290mm. In 2010, under the authorship HLS White, she produced Script. These works underscore her engagement in creative research outputs typical of design disciplines. Furthermore, she actively participates in professional networks, serving as a core committee member of Adelaide Design Week. In this role, she functions as an event organiser and program contributor, developing platforms that promote creative dialogues across architecture, design, and the arts. She has contributed to initiatives like the Australian Institute of Architects SA Chapter's International Women's Day event in 2026, engaging in discussions on equity, leadership, and interdisciplinary connections in architecture and design. Hannah White is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
