Hayashi Hayato is the President and Professor in the Faculty of Management, Department of Management at Chukyo Gakuin University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Literature. His research specializations include school management theory and education that embodies the founding spirit. He is a member of the Japan School Education Society and the Japan High School Education Society. Hayashi teaches courses such as Communication Methods, Sign Language, Self-Production A and B, and Regional Contribution I and II.
Hayashi has contributed extensively to academic literature and professional practice. He edited the book 'Local Small Private Universities' Challenge: Education Collaborating with Regional Society,' published by Kazama Shobo on March 15, 2025. Notable publications include his single-authored paper 'Examination of Practice in High School Comprehensive Learning Time - Considering Reorganization of Educational and Subject Curricula-' in the Chukyo Gakuin University Junior College Research Bulletin, Vol. 48, No. 1 (2017); co-authored 'Active Learning Initiatives Aimed at Forming Active Learning Attitudes - From Survey in Japanese Expression and Health Management Overview' in Vol. 48, No. 2 (2018); 'Challenges in Operational Aspects of Educational IR for Building Teaching Management Cycle in Small Private Universities' in the Chukyo Gakuin University Research Bulletin, Vol. 1, No. 1 (2022); 'Insights from Joint IR Training Session for Building Teaching Management in Small Private Universities' (2023); and 'Examination of Teaching IR Training Session in Small and Medium Private Universities - Based on Questionnaire Results from Joint IR Training' in Vol. 3, No. 1 (2024). He also co-authored 'Active Learning Plan Construction and Classroom Operation: Nurturing Subjectivity Through Interactive Communication' in 2017. Hayashi served as Third-Party Evaluation Committee Member for the General Foundation Short University Standards Association in 2019, 2021, and 2022. He delivered lectures such as 'Living in Private Schools: Understanding Characteristics of Private Schools and Thinking About Future School Building' at the Nagano Prefecture Private School Education Training Session (2020) and 'Aiming for Realization of Education that Embodies the Founding Spirit' at the Nakatsugawa City Ethics Corporation Association (2024).
