Joel Fowler serves as Lecturer in Exercise Science within the School of Allied Health and Human Performance, College of Health, at Adelaide University. He earned his Master of Exercise Science with a focus on Strength and Conditioning in 2015 and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement and Health Studies in 2013. These qualifications underpin his expertise in practical applications of exercise science. His research interests include strength and conditioning, human performance, and interventions designed for at-risk populations. Joel Fowler is committed to student success in Exercise and Sport Science through his teaching contributions.
In his role, Joel Fowler acts as a tutor for multiple on-campus courses in Exercise and Sport Science and holds the position of course coordinator for Functional Anatomy. He cultivates a supportive and engaging learning environment that enables students to demonstrate their understanding, apply practical skills, and attain their highest potential. He contributes to instruction in courses such as Foundations in Human Movement, Exercise and Sports Science (HLTH-1011), Functional Anatomy (HLTH-1051), Motor Control and Learning (HBIO-2061), and Exercise Physiology 1 (HBIO-1000), often collaborating with colleagues like Bethany Gower, Jack Luders, Samantha Lange, and Mikayla Vidmar.
