Jonathan Krabill is an Associate Professor in the Business Management department at Columbus State Community College, contributing to the Business & Economics faculty. He earned a B.A. in Economics from The College of Wooster in 2003 and an M.B.A. from The University of Akron in 2004. As Lead Instructor, he teaches Principles of Business (BMGT 1101), Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (BMGT 2231), and Entrepreneurship Business Plan Development (BMGT 2232). Previously recognized as an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship for over eight years, Krabill has served in leadership roles, including Chairperson for Accounting, Business Management, Business Office Administration, Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing, and Real Estate programs as listed in the 2021-2022 college catalog. His professional interests include anything related to small business, being outdoors, and cooking.
Krabill's career history encompasses diverse experiences in business and entrepreneurship. During his undergraduate studies, he interned for Ohio State University Athletic Compliance. He coordinated grassroots efforts as Assistant Finance Director for a statewide political campaign to re-elect Justice Evelyn Stratton. Krabill spent nearly a decade as Director of Sales for Sterling Sports Management, managing personal branding packets and sponsorship research for over 80 professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, PGA, and LPGA. He acquired Killer Dough Cookie Company, LLC, eliminating all debt within six months and increasing annual sales tenfold over the previous year. Currently, he owns Birdie Brennan Custom Closets, serving as head of operations, and My Small Business Blueprint, where he provides strategies for small business owners. At Columbus State Community College, he facilitates Mod 7: Strategic Growth Through Operations in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. His practical expertise enhances student learning in entrepreneurship and business principles within the Business & Economics domain.
