Rate My Professor Kotb Rissouni

Prof. Kotb Rissouni serves as Dean and Professor at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the University of Sharjah. His specialization is Fundamentals of Jurisprudence. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Abdelmalek Saadi University in Tetouan in 1995, his master’s degree from the University of Granada in Spain in 1998, and his doctorate from a recognized institution. His research interests include Maliki Fiqh and Usuli studies. Prof. Rissouni has authored several books, including “صناعة الفتوى في القضايا المعاصرة” published in 2014 by Dar Ibn Hazm in Beirut, “مصادر التشريع الإسلامي”, “الفرض الكفائي من تجديد الوعي إلى بناء الأمة: دراسة أصولية مقاصدية”, and “التراث المالكي الاندلسي في آثار”. He received the University of Sharjah Award in 2016 while serving as head of the Department of Fiqh and its Foundations. In his role as Dean, he contributes to academic leadership within the college and participates in institutional activities at the University of Sharjah.
