Leif W. Lundmark serves as an Associate Professor in the Management Department within the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He obtained his Ph.D. in Business Administration, specializing in Management, from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah in 2014. Before entering academia, Lundmark founded and directed Lyssna Audio Inc., bringing practical entrepreneurial experience to his academic role. His scholarly work centers on strategic management and entrepreneurship, with a particular emphasis on the cognitive and behavioral underpinnings of strategic problem formulation and decision-making. Lundmark investigates cognitive biases during the IPO process, the influence of problem formulation on solutions to complex issues, the impact of affect on knowledge search and recombination, as well as macro-level factors like determinants of formal and informal entrepreneurship and the effects of social media on organizational legitimacy and IPO performance.
