Luke Covino is a Lecturer in Education at the School of Education, College of Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences, Adelaide University, at the regional campus in Whyalla. He has dedicated 10 years to middle school and senior secondary education in the Whyalla region, specialising in Biology, General Sciences, Mathematics, and Health & Physical Education. In these positions, he held leadership roles in faculty coordination, student wellbeing, and house coordination. Prior to his current appointment, Covino worked with UniSA in a casual teaching capacity with UniSA College and Clinical & Health Sciences, tutoring in Anatomy & Physiology. His academic background includes completed studies in Exercise Science and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning. Following his qualifications, he moved back to Whyalla to begin his teaching career, bringing a strong foundation in exercise science and pedagogy to his roles.
